AliExpress has reduced the price of the 5th Wheel AB17 electric bike to $209.62 after applying the $50 coupon code USAFF50. The bike ships from a warehouse in the United States, and most orders are expected to arrive within a week, according to the original report.
The adult bike has a 36V, 375Wh lithium battery and a 500W motor rated for a PEAK output of 700W. Its stated top speed is 23 mph. The battery is rated for up to 25 miles in electric-only mode or up to 45 miles with pedal assist, though actual range varies with factors such as speed and terrain.
The AB17 has a carbon-steel frame and weighs about 50 pounds, with a stated weight capacity of 265 pounds. It arrives 85% assembled, includes a one-year warranty and is UL 2849 certified. Buyers should check their local rules for Class 2 electric bikes before riding.
The deal makes the AB17 an inexpensive option for casual use, although the original report notes that other bikes may offer better components, more powerful motors or stronger upgrade and customer-support options at higher prices.
