The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake is not scheduled to launch until November 5, but at least one player appears to have received a physical copy early. The player, Reddit user Robnaratt34, has been sharing progress and answering questions in the game’s subreddit, with no major spoilers reported so far.
Robnaratt34 said they had reached the Master Sword after obtaining the first Spiritual Stone and Zelda’s Lullaby. They also posted screenshots showing updated character and item designs that had not previously been revealed.
Fans asked about several familiar elements. The player described the ReDeads as “beautiful” and said Darunia still has his dance moves, adding that his conversations may have been improved. Asked whether Queen Gohma has new attacks, Robnaratt34 said they defeated her before she could attack.
One answer addressed a moment many fans were keen to see preserved: King Zora De Bon XVI’s slow slide aside after Link gives him Princess Ruto’s message in a bottle. Robnaratt34 confirmed that the scene is still there and that the slide remains long, as in the original game.
The remake is due out on November 5, when players will be able to see the changes and any additions for themselves.
