Fans of Lupin III looking for collectible home video releases have a handful of discounted options on Amazon, according to a round-up of the current offers. The selection covers three limited editions dedicated to the world's most famous anime thief, with one of them priced at only 8 euros.
The first is Lupin The IIIRD - La Trilogia - Limited Edition, a box set containing three DVDs, a collectible card and a booklet. Only 1,000 copies were produced, made for the 50th anniversary of the original anime series. The set gathers the three darker, more auteur-driven chapters of the character: La Lapide di Jigen Daisuke (2014), Ishikawa Goemon Getto di Sangue (2017) and La Bugia di Mine Fujiko (2019). Extras include three collectible cards and three booklets of 32 pages each, featuring sketches and background material.
Also on offer is Lupin the 3rd: The First - The Movie - Limited Edition, a special edition of the 2019 film presented in 3D computer graphics. The package includes the movie on DVD with a range of bonus content, a collectible postcard and an exclusive 24-page booklet.
Completing the group is Lupin Zero - Limited DVD, a box set devoted to the six-episode prequel miniseries set in 1960s Japan and focused on the origins of a young Lupin. Alongside the series on DVD, the edition includes a pair of collectible cards and a booklet with information sheets, sketches and background features.
The round-up notes that it contains affiliate links, meaning the site may receive a commission on purchases made through them, and that prices may change after publication.
