Batman: Knightfall Part 2: Knightquest will be released on digital, 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD on December 15, 2026. The feature-length animated film is a sequel from DC, Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, which have also revealed its box art and a clip from the movie.

The story follows Bruce Wayne after Bane leaves him paralyzed and unable to continue as Batman. Jean-Paul Valley, also known as Azrael, takes on the role of Gotham’s protector, but his more violent approach raises questions about whether he can stop Bane.

The released clip shows Nightwing, voiced by Mike Prater, in a chase and hand-to-hand fight with Azrael, voiced by Pablo Schreiber. Anson Mount voices Bruce Wayne/Batman, while Michael Mando plays Bane.

Directed by Jeff Wamester and written by Jeremy Adams, Knightquest runs for 76 minutes and is rated R for strong bloody violence. Its digital, 4K UHD and Blu-ray editions will include two bonus features: one about adapting and redesigning Azrael for the modern animated story, and another exploring the moral question of whether Batman or Azrael should kill.

Knightquest follows Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall, released in June. A third film in the series, Batman: Knightfall Part 3, is scheduled for release in 2027.
