Bethesda has confirmed that its next Elder Scrolls game is titled The Elder Scrolls 6: Sentinel. Todd Howard announced the name in a video celebrating the studio’s 40th anniversary.
The anniversary video offered a hint about the game’s setting and timeline. A passage shown after the title reveal refers to the sands of time and is attributed to Yazar, a Moth Priest of High Queen Iradne of Hammerfell, in 4E 206.
The passage places Sentinel in Hammerfell and, according to the source, five years after the events of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. Bethesda has not shared further details about the long-awaited RPG in the information available.
