Bethesda has cautioned fans against expecting more news about The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel soon. The studio says development is continuing, but it will take more time before it is ready to share additional information.
In a message on its official Bluesky account, Bethesda thanked fans for 40 years together and said it was looking forward to making more memories with them through the game. The studio added that it was pleased to have revealed the title and setting, while stressing that further details are not yet ready to be announced.
Bethesda did not give a timeline for its next update. The original announcement of The Elder Scrolls VI came eight years ago, and the latest statement offers no specific indication of when the game might be released.
Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier said on Bluesky that the game is more than two years away from release. When asked about the estimate, he said it was based on his knowledge of the timeline the game is targeting, rather than being a guess.
