More than eleven years after its initial release on PlayStation 4, Bloodborne continues to demonstrate enduring commercial viability. According to new estimates from market analysis firm Alinea Analytics, the acclaimed FromSoftware title has sold approximately 251,000 copies during the first part of 2026. This figure is particularly notable given that the game, originally launched in 2015, has never received a remaster, a remake, or a version for PC.

Rhys Elliott, head of Alinea Analytics, shared these calculations which indicate that Bloodborne has accumulated 10.4 million copies sold since its debut, generating an estimated $317 million in total revenue. It is important to note that these figures are estimates provided by the consultancy and not official data published by Sony. The sales recorded for 2026 alone, totaling 251,000 units, are projected to have generated around $4.4 million. This revenue stream has been bolstered by frequent discounts, with the game recently available for as low as 4.99 euros.

Player engagement remains robust beyond mere sales figures. Approximately 500,000 people played the game during October, and Alinea Analytics estimates that 5.7 million players have discovered the title through PlayStation Plus. The data also highlights a strong overlap among fans of FromSoftware's catalog. Among those who played Bloodborne in October, 12% also played Elden Ring, 6% played Dark Souls III, and 5% played Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, indicating an active community that alternates between the studio's various works.

Despite this sustained popularity, there is still no official announcement from Sony regarding a remaster, remake, or PC adaptation. The game remains exclusive to the PlayStation ecosystem, playable on PS5 via backward compatibility but limited to 30 frames per second. These new statistics underscore the continued high interest in Hidetaka Miyazaki's adventure more than a decade after its release, keeping the demand for an enhanced version alive among fans.
