The Borderlands franchise has sold more than 100 million copies, according to an announcement celebrating the milestone from 2K Games, Take-Two Interactive and Gearbox Software.
The series began in 2008 and has since expanded to include three mainline sequels, several spin-offs and eight paid games released for sale. It has also had mobile games and collections.
Borderlands 4, released in 2025, is the franchise’s latest game. No updated sales figures for individual titles have been disclosed.
