Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth are available at steep discounts in Square Enix’s Nintendo eShop sale for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. The games cost $7.99 and $7.49, respectively, putting both below $8.

The Switch 2 edition of Final Fantasy 7 Remake normally sells for $39.99 and includes the Intergrade DLC. Alongside Cloud’s journey through Midgar, the package includes Episode Yuffie, which expands the story with the Wutai ninja and additional lore connected to the Remake trilogy.

According to the original report, Remake performs well on Switch 2 overall, with a generally steady frame rate, including during combat. Occasional stuttering and resolution drops can occur, while hair rendering may be distracting, particularly in handheld mode.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is reduced from $49.99 to $7.49. The discount covers the base game only. A separate deluxe DLC bundle is also on sale for $3, down from $20. It includes Magic Pot summoning materia, Orchid Bracelet armor, the Reclaimant Choker accessory, a digital art book and a digital mini-soundtrack. The bundle does not contain a story expansion.

Rebirth places a greater technical demand on Switch 2 because of its open-world design. The report notes frequent asset pop-in and less detailed character models than those in the PlayStation 5 version, although the game continues to run well overall. Frame-rate drops are described as uncommon during major story moments and battles.
