A datamine of Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave has uncovered character sprites and alternate designs that have not appeared in the game’s available routes. Fans have speculated that some could feature in additional routes planned for 2027, though their inclusion has not been confirmed.

The sprites were shared on X and prompted discussion on Reddit. The findings include several characters absent from the four currently available Flame Lord routes: Cai, Dietrich, Theodora and Leda. Earlier comments from Intelligent Systems and Nintendo indicated that the game was originally planned to have eight routes. The announced expansion is expected to add content involving the four cut lords: Orchel, Talimun, Bertrand and Anatolia.

Among the extracted designs are younger versions of Bertrand. One shows him with black hair and the armor he wore when he killed Leda’s father; another depicts him in gladiator clothing. Some of the variations have appeared in the game, while others have not, leading fans to wonder whether they are connected to Bertrand’s route.

The files also include a shirtless version of Talimun, the boss of the Vandahl Trading Company. The discovery drew attention from fans, but the datamine alone does not establish whether this design or any of the other newly uncovered assets will appear in downloadable content.

The game’s additional routes are expected sometime in 2027. Until then, the leaked sprites remain a source of speculation rather than confirmation of what the expansion will contain.
