Fortnite has launched its Chapter 7 mini season, "Treasure Hunters," which dramatically reshapes the game map into an island inhabited by several warring pirate crews. This update brings new Points of Interest (POIs), weapons, and items for players to discover alongside character debuts such as Kasane Teto and Monkey D. Luffy. While the number of POIs has been reduced compared to previous iterations, the season offers a distinct set of locations including Rubber Resort, The Chest, Arlong Park, Windmill Village, Loot Lagoon, Lantern Landing, Loguetown, Lil' Uzi's Stronghold, Cursed Cavern, The $.$. Rocky, Busy Bay, and Plunder Port.
The weapon loot pool has been significantly updated with new additions based on the One Piece crew and A$AP Rocky. New firearms include Zoro's Three Sword Style, which allows players to wield three katanas simultaneously for close-quarters combat; A$AP Rocky's Shock Rocket, a non-Competitive item that provides aerial mobility before raining rockets down; Usopp's Slingshot, designed for long-range precision; the Bundlebuss Repeater Rifle for medium-range automatic fire; and the Gilded Dragoon Shotgun, which trades magazine size for high single-shot damage. Additionally, several weapons have been unvaulted, including the Sentinel Pump Shotgun, Auto Shotgun, Flint-Knock Pistol, Sidearm Pistol, Machine SMG, Tactical SMG, and Hammer Assault Rifle.
New consumable items and utilities are also available immediately upon launch. Players can utilize the Gum-Gum Fruit to transform into Luffy for stretching attacks and mobility, or the Flame-Flame Fruit to become Ace and unleash rapid fire shots followed by a Fire Fist finisher. Other new items include the Explosive Cannon Ball, Nami's Tangerine for health and shield restoration with water movement boosts, Meat on a Stick for sustained healing, and Wanted Posters that can be torn down to reveal Sprite Treasure Maps leading to buried chests. The season also sees the return of the Zipline Deployer, Overdrive Grenade, Slurp Juice, Shield Fish, Jellyfish, Slurpfish, Hop Flopper, and Spicy Fish.
Mechanically, this mini season features a smaller island map that reduces the match size to 80 players instead of the standard 100. A major addition is the Pirate Shop Token, a rare item found in chests that grants full access to the shop for two weeks, allowing players to claim any cosmetics for free. Content will be released weekly, with Lil Uzi Vert arriving on November 7, followed by Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto on November 14, and Fortnite's Oscar joining on November 21. These updates will introduce additional sprites, weapons, and items. The season also includes recurring events: Mastery Mondays will double sprite XP and dust, while Saturdays are designated as Captain's Days for specific character appearances.
