Playground Games has announced City Life, the first in a planned series of free updates for Forza Horizon 6. It launches on PC and Xbox Series on November 5, with its Festival Playlist starting at 15:30 CET. The update adds two permanent race routes in Tokyo: the Edo Circuit Road Race and the Shuto Cargo Street Race.

Players can earn three cars making their Forza Horizon debut through the Festival Playlist: the 2016 Honda S660 Alpha, 2025 Citroën Ami and 1987 Fiat Panda. The playlist also brings back the 2011 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde and 1966 Hillman Imp. Playground Games has lowered the number of Playlist points needed to unlock new cars.

Other rewards include a 2025 GR GT Prototype design inspired by Halo’s Warthog, delivered through the Message Center, and a Master Chief outfit unlocked by completing the Week 2 Photo Challenge. The update also adds 35 Xbox-themed IKEA furnishings for players to use in their customizable garages.

Four vehicles are also scheduled to arrive in the paid Car Pass over the coming weeks: the 2025 Ford Mustang GTD, 2025 Volkswagen Electric Buzz, 1983 Nissan 240RS and 2025 Porsche Macan GTS.

Playground Games says Horizon Holidays will follow in December, bringing Evolutive World updates, another permanent race route and three new cars. Forza Horizon 6 is available on PC and Xbox Series; a PS5 version is listed for January 21, 2027, alongside the game’s first major expansion.
