Gag Order is a co-op horror shooter with an SCP-ish tone in which players take the role of a Guardian Unit member at a research lab. A distress call draws the unit to one of the core parts of the complex, where the atmosphere is described as rotten and it quickly becomes clear that the team is not equipped for what it will face.
Instead of playing as the monster, players are hunted by disgusting cephalopod creatures covered in tentacles. The game is not designed for solo play, and its mood is described as unfriendly even if it shares some lineage with Lethal Company. In the first phase of a run, the creatures sound invincible; guns appear able to fend them off at least, while the second phase is geared around a fast-paced team bossfight in which players try to take the creatures down. The details of how a run moves from one phase to the other are not clear.
The presentation is described as reminiscent of 2000s shooters with some contemporary mechanical sensibilities, along with light SCP vibes and surreal touches such as crows gathered in an abandoned office building. Gag Order is expected by the end of 2026, and players interested in it can wishlist it on Steam.
