Genshin Impact version 7.2 is scheduled to arrive after approximately five hours of maintenance. The update continues the story in Snezhnaya, adds two playable characters and introduces a range of limited-time events.

Maintenance is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 3, in North America, Brazil, the United Kingdom and western Europe. In Japan and on Australia’s east coast, it begins on Wednesday, Nov. 4. The listed start times are 2 p.m. PST for the west coast of North America, 5 p.m. EST for the east coast, 7 p.m. BRT in Brazil, 10 p.m. GMT in the U.K., 11 p.m. CET in western Europe, 7 a.m. JST in Japan and 9 a.m. AEDT on Australia’s east coast.

Version 7.2 is expected to go live when maintenance ends at approximately 7 p.m. PST, 10 p.m. EST and midnight BRT. For the U.K., the estimated launch time is 3 a.m. GMT on Nov. 4, followed by 4 a.m. CET in western Europe, noon JST in Japan and 2 p.m. AEDT on Australia’s east coast.

These are approximate times, and the servers could return earlier or later depending on how maintenance progresses. Players may want to use their Resin before the downtime, while keeping in mind that a new Battle Pass begins once version 7.2 launches.

The update advances the Snezhnaya quest line as Teyvat faces a crisis described as though the world itself is evaporating. The story is also expected to bring together the strongest leaders from each region in an effort to address the situation.

Version 7.2 introduces the four-star Electro character Valeriy and the five-star Electro character Mitya. It will also include events offering rewards such as Primogems, Crowns and other upgrade materials.
