Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, released in 2023, contains numerous hidden references and Easter eggs, but one specific secret remained undiscovered for over three years despite online teasing from its creator. Respawn UI director Jordan DeVries first hinted at the existence of this hidden element in 2025, noting on social media that a submitted and approved UI Easter egg had gone unnoticed by players since the game's launch.
The mystery was finally solved on November 1, 2026, when Twitter user TowerBunga successfully triggered the secret. By inputting the famous Konami code within the Force upgrade menu of the third-person action game, the player revealed a bizarre animation where a giant space frog appears and consumes a strange moon in the sky. DeVries confirmed the discovery on social media, acknowledging that the well-hidden feature had taken three years to be found.
Following the revelation, DeVries responded to the news on Reddit with the comment, "It's been a long three years..." The developer expressed appreciation for fans uncovering secrets long after a game's release, suggesting that many mysteries likely remain buried in various titles. DeVries noted that while the internet seems to have cataloged everything, there is still room for new discoveries in older games that could eventually become notable stories.
