New concept art for Physint, displayed at an exhibition marking Kojima Productions’ 10th anniversary, appears to share a visual style with Metal Gear Solid. The material was reported by a ResetEra user attending the event in Japan, who also published photographs of the illustrations.
The designs provide some of the first additional visual indications about Physint, a project whose story was recently reported to be almost complete. While the images do not reveal further information about the game’s plot, their style has prompted comparisons with Hideo Kojima’s earlier series.
The exhibition also focuses on OD Knock, showing several new environments and character-design elements. Among the displayed concepts were crows, crow wings, what may be a ram skull, and a white rat with red eyes wearing clothing. Another image depicted a female character holding a white rodent and wearing a headpiece resembling an escoffion.
One of the environments reportedly shown for OD Knock was an attic room, although visitors were not allowed to photograph or film it. Unlike that material, the Physint illustrations could be captured and shared.
The exhibition therefore offers additional visual details about two of Kojima Productions’ most mysterious projects. Physint is listed for PlayStation 5 as an action-adventure game developed by Kojima Productions and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
