There is no single market price for a holographic Charizard from the Pokémon Base Set. Its value depends on factors including its condition, whether it has been professionally graded and which version it is. The estimates cited are based on sales over the past year and a half on eBay and other trading-card marketplaces, rather than fixed valuations.

For the more common Unlimited edition, card number 4/102, an ungraded, used card has recently sold for between $88 and $470, with an average of about $180. A card graded PSA 7 has been valued at around $550 to $700, while PSA 9 examples have sold for roughly $4,000 to $22,000.

A PSA 10 Charizard can command substantially more: one auction for an equivalent card reached $75,000. The figures are higher still for the rarer 1st Edition Shadowless version, for which a PSA 7 card can be worth as much as $35,000.
