CI Games and Hexworks have confirmed that they require additional time to complete development on Lords of the Fallen 2. This delay comes after feedback from the team currently playing the game revealed specific opportunities to significantly improve the overall player experience.
The creative team has determined that more time is necessary to implement, fine-tune, and polish these identified improvements. Consequently, the title will now launch in the first quarter of 2027 rather than its previously anticipated window.
This schedule adjustment also serves to move the release away from a particularly crowded period at the end of 2026. The developers have asked fans interested in this dark fantasy action RPG to stay tuned, assuring them that Lords of the Fallen 2 will be a successor worthy of the original game.
