Microsoft has unveiled the Xbox Series X-BITE, a custom console built into the body of an alligator. The creation is a real, working Xbox Series X, although Microsoft says the piece is intended for display rather than everyday use.
The alligator measures more than 1.5 metres long, with the console concealed inside and its illuminated Xbox logo visible. Its controller is positioned between the creature’s jaws and decorated with bite marks, while green irises and Xbox-logo-shaped pupils complete the design. No real alligator was involved.
The project was made by John Nolan Studio, which has worked on creatures and animatronics for productions including The Witcher and Jurassic World Dominion.
Only one Xbox Series X-BITE was made, and Microsoft is offering it through a social media sweepstakes running from November 3 to November 10, 2026. Entrants must follow the official Xbox account on X, Instagram or TikTok, share the promotional post and use the hashtag #XbiteSweepstakes. Their profiles must be public.
The contest is limited to adults living in the United States or the District of Columbia.
