miHoYo, the Chinese studio behind Genshin Impact, has officially announced the release date for its new free-to-play title, Petite Planet. Following years of production and several months of testing, the game is scheduled to launch on December 4, 2026. The title will be available on iOS, Android, and PC through the Epic Games Store.
Described as a cosmic life simulation game, Petite Planet draws inspiration from Japanese works while offering an experience comparable to Animal Crossing but on a galactic scale. The gameplay centers on rejuvenating the player's planet, which serves as the first step in a journey that will introduce them to numerous characters across various worlds. This cozy simulator represents the latest project from miHoYo to showcase its creative direction inspired by Japanese media.
