Pokémon Go has initiated the second half of its 2026 Halloween event, which is active from November 1 through November 5. Despite the calendar date being in November, this segment continues the spooky festivities by reintroducing several costumed Pokémon and marking the debut of shiny Greavard.

A significant mechanical update for this period allows Mega Sableye to reach Super Max Level. Upon reaching this status, the Pokémon will learn the Night Shade+ move when Mega Evolved, a power boost that applies even if the evolution occurred before hitting the new level cap. Players who purchased the Go Pass during the first part of the Halloween event can still utilize it throughout this second phase.

The event features a Timed Research task that auto-completes upon opening the game. Participants will receive six Rare Candies and an encounter with Sinistea wearing a bow as rewards. Additionally, spinning PokéStops may yield Field Research tasks, such as catching 13 Ghost-type Pokémon to find Froakie in a witch hat, Rowlet in Halloween attire, or Greavard. Other tasks include catching 13 Pokémon for Mega Sableye Energy, making six nice throws for Litwick, Sandygast, or Greavard encounters, and winning raids to encounter Zubat with a top hat or Sinistea with a bow. Winning three raids grants an encounter with Pikachu wearing a hat and capelet.

Boosted spawns during the event period will include Gengar in a witch hat, Shuppet, Litwick, Froakie (witch hat), Rowlet (Halloween), Sandygast, and Greavard. The raid schedule has also been updated to feature one-star raids against Pikachu (hat and capelet) and Sinistea (bow).
