Amazon is currently offering a significant discount on the Sabrent 8-Port 252W USB Desktop Charging Station, reducing the price to $59.42 after applying the coupon code DJK4D88Z. This deal represents a 34% reduction and stands as the lowest price recorded for the device this year. The charging station is designed to address power needs for multiple devices simultaneously, featuring a total of eight ports split evenly between four USB Type-A and four USB Type-C connections.
In terms of power delivery, each USB Type-C port can output up to 100W, while the USB Type-A ports provide up to 18W. Although all ports are available for use at once, the total simultaneous power output is capped at 252W, with a maximum allocation of 126W for USB-C and 126W for USB-A. The high-wattage Type-C ports are capable of charging laptops, tablets, smartphones, and power-intensive gaming handhelds such as the Xbox Ally X20, Steam Deck, or Lenovo Legion Go 2. Meanwhile, the lower-power Type-A ports are suitable for Apple accessories, mice, headsets, controllers, and other PC peripherals.
The device also includes an LCD status display that monitors real-time power draw for each individual port. Eric Song, IGN's commerce manager responsible for sourcing daily gaming and tech deals, noted his personal experience with the brand, stating he has owned a Sabrent USB charging station for nearly six years which continues to function well.
