The SCUF Omega Wireless TMR controller for PlayStation 5 is available at a 10% discount ahead of Black Friday. The offer brings the starting price to $198 with free shipping when buyers apply the code IGN10 at checkout. The promotion is described as limited-time, and the controller is also compatible with PC.
The officially licensed controller keeps the familiar DualSense layout but includes SCUF Endurance TMR sensors in both analog sticks. TMR technology uses electromagnetic sensing and has no moving parts; the source says it offers finer control, greater precision and improved power efficiency compared with Hall Effect sticks, while resisting stick drift.
Other features include Omron mechanical switches in the D-pad and face buttons, plus L2 and R2 triggers with two settings: a short-throw action and a standard full-throw option. The controller also has four rear paddles, two side buttons and five G-Keys along its bottom edge. Two of the G-Keys can be programmed through the SCUF mobile app.
