Survey: 7% of GTA 6 Fans Would Give Up Their Pet for Early Access

A survey by Unwind Media of 1,347 American gamers found that 7% of respondents would be willing to give up their pet for a month in exchange for playing GTA 6 a week early. The figure rose to 13% among players who had already pre-ordered the game.

The poll also found that 21% of participants would give up intimacy for early access. That included 25% of female respondents and 19% of male respondents.

On the other hand, 53% said they planned to play GTA 6 with their partner. More women than men were interested in doing so: 71% of female respondents compared with 39% of male respondents. Only 8% of those surveyed said they genuinely considered the game’s relationship mechanic to be cheating.

GTA 6 is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro and Xbox X|S.
