Asmodee’s The Lord of the Rings: The Duel is available to preorder on Amazon at its lowest guaranteed price, according to the original report. The Italian-language board game is scheduled for release on November 27.
Set in Middle-earth, the strategy game casts one player as Frodo and the Fellowship and the other as Sauron’s servants. It is designed for two players aged 14 and up, with matches lasting around 30 minutes.
Players choose between the two factions and can use deception to outmaneuver their opponent. A character-drafting system is intended to make each game different.
