The Pokémon Company appears to be using its 30th anniversary campaign to tease an announcement scheduled for the end of November. The company has created Poké Ball-inspired logos for more than 1,000 Pokémon, and three of those logos shared through its Japanese X account have included numbers that align with a countdown.
The first two logos, posted in October, displayed the numbers 1,025 and 843. The difference between them is 182, matching the 182 hours that passed between the posts. According to Serebii webmaster Joe Merrick, the figures pointed to 14:00 UTC on November 30, 2026.
A third logo posted on Monday showed the number 676. That figure also matched the number of hours remaining until 14:00 UTC on November 30 when the post was published, providing another indication that the countdown is deliberate.
The latest logo also contains new Japanese text. Merrick said it roughly translates as “Continue with Pokémon,” although the message does not clarify what the company plans to reveal.
One possibility is news about Pokémon Winds and Waves, the next mainline games, which are scheduled for next year but still lack a release date. The announcement could involve a trailer, a new Pokémon, or a launch-date reveal. However, the countdown may instead relate to another part of the wider Pokémon franchise or simply be a marketing initiative.
The Pokémon Company is expected to reveal what the countdown means on November 30.
