Walmart’s Nov. 4 collectibles drawing includes six Pokémon Trading Card Game products, with prices ranging from $15.97 to $224.97. Five are pre-orders for items scheduled to release Friday, Nov. 6; the remaining product is an Elite Trainer Box from the Scarlet & Violet Prismatic Evolutions set.
The featured 30th Anniversary items are the Day and Night Ultra-Premium Collection for $224.97 and the Ditto Premium Collection for $49.97. Both prices are above their listed MSRPs of $179.99 and $39.99, respectively. The Delta Reign products are an Elite Trainer Box for $60, a Booster Bundle for $34.97 and a three-pack blister for $15.97. The Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box is listed at $69.
Although most of the Walmart prices exceed MSRP, the source reports that the Ultra-Premium Collection is listed at $249.99 at Target and Barnes & Noble, and $399.99 at GameStop. Walmart offers free shipping for the product. The three-pack Delta Reign blister is priced about a dollar above its MSRP.
The drawing is a random selection rather than a standard purchase: customers enter for the products they want, but there is no guarantee of being selected. The entry period starts at 2 p.m. PST on Nov. 4 and lasts one hour. Winners are generally contacted the following morning, though confirmations may arrive up to 72 hours after the drawing. Selected customers are charged automatically; those who are not selected will not be notified.
To enter, customers need a Walmart account and a saved payment profile. The source also notes that the Pokémon Center had not yet begun sales of the 30th Anniversary Ultra-Premium Collection, which was due to release two days later.
