World of Warcraft: Forever is set to launch with substantial class adjustments, including major talent changes for Rogues and Paladins. Blizzard says it used data from the game’s month-long beta to bring class balance to a reasonable starting point, but players should not expect another major tuning pass for at least a month.

In the launch patch notes, Blizzard said it plans to avoid significant balance changes before the raids open next month, apart from addressing bugs and serious outliers. The studio expects to make a broader round of adjustments once it has more data from players progressing beyond level 30 and trying different types of content.

Forever’s three launch raids are scheduled to open on December 9. Blizzard described the launch balance as a starting point, with further class development expected over the months and years ahead.

World of Warcraft: Forever launches November 4, and players can create their characters ahead of release.
