Bend Studio, the developer behind the 2019 open-world survival horror game Days Gone, could be preparing to reveal a new project as early as 2027. The reported title would be designed for PlayStation 5, although Sony has not officially announced it.

According to rumors attributed to people professionally close to the studio, the project is an unnamed third-person adventure featuring cooperative gameplay. The available information does not suggest that it would be a Live-service game, despite the multiplayer focus.

The project is also reportedly not Days Gone 2. The sequel has been requested by many players since the original game launched on PlayStation 4, but the source states that Sony did not continue the series, reportedly because of concerns over its development costs and commercial performance.

Insider reports claim that Bend Studio’s new game could be presented in 2027 and might even launch during the same year. However, no official name, genre classification or release date has been provided, and Sony has yet to confirm the project.
