Introduced during Fortnite’s Treasure Hunters event, the rare Pirate Shop Token provides 14 days of free access to the in-game shop. The token is obtained randomly from treasure chests, so the suggested routes aim to increase the number of chests players can search in a match. It can be used once in 2026 and once in 2027.

A safer route heads from north to west. Start on the island in the top-right corner of the map, where there are 11 buried-chest spawn locations, then travel to Fortune’s Fort to search a chest on the beach and explore the peninsula’s countryside. Avoid the center of the fort, where better-equipped opponents may be waiting, and continue toward the harbor between Fortune’s Fort and Loot Lagoon. If it has not already been searched, make a stop at the named location The Chest: it has 10 regular chest locations close together and 34 buried-chest locations in a compact area.

Another option starts on the same northeastern island and passes through Fortune’s Fort’s beach before heading south to Boogie Boat. Circle the lagoon from the south to search its chests. If there is time and the area is quiet, continue to the S.S. Rocky, which has eight regular chest locations and four rare chests.

Players confident in their combat and building skills can instead drop into busier locations with more loot. Rubber Resort has 47 regular chests and six rare ones, while Lantern Landing has 45 chests and Loguetown has 41. Arlong Park contains 35 chests in a compact area. Because Loguetown and Arlong Park are relatively close, they can be combined into one route.

The Fortune Chester Sprite can also help with chest searches. Its ability reveals nearby chests, which is useful in dense areas such as Arlong Park and Lantern Landing. Its passive ability also gives a chance of receiving extra loot when opening a chest.
