God of War Laufey will arrive later than previously planned. Sony Santa Monica Studio has shifted the game’s release date from February 16, 2027, to May 20, 2027, extending the wait for the upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive by more than three months.
The studio said the team needs additional time and will use it to add the finishing touches and make the most of the game’s potential. It also aims to deliver an experience worthy of the dedication shown by fans.
