A new Grand Theft Auto 5 mod called Cougars turns the game into a frantic chase, sending packs of hostile big cats after the player. The mod offers seven cougar types and four difficulty levels: Catnap, Furmidable, Feral and Catastrophe.
The action begins when players press the Delete key and choose a mode. In Catastrophe, the author found himself fleeing the animals as Franklin, with some cougars carrying heavy machine guns, others wearing body armour and a few sporting traffic cones. The pursuit continued even after he teleported elsewhere.
After several minutes, the attempt to reach a private jet at Los Santos International Airport seemed unlikely to succeed. A teleport back home brought an overwhelming number of cougars with it, which the player dealt with using an explosive micro-SMG.
Boarding the plane triggered a victory message, accompanied by a character with a cougar’s head and dancing cougars. The player then teleported away during the celebration.
