Rockstar Games has confirmed the preload schedule for Grand Theft Auto 6 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, along with an estimated install size of up to 212 GB, depending on the device.
PS5 preloading begins at midnight on November 10 in each player’s local time zone. On Xbox Series X|S, it starts at 12 a.m. GMT on November 10, which corresponds to 4 p.m. PT and 7 p.m. ET on November 9. Rockstar advises players to make sure they have enough storage space before starting the download.
The game is scheduled to launch globally on November 19 for both consoles, with release times set for midnight local time. Rockstar says boxed-code editions for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S should begin appearing at retailers on November 12.
On November 19, Rockstar will also add a printable GTA 6 cover-art poster and a map of Leonida as free downloads on its official website. A double-sided physical version of the poster is planned for the Rockstar Store shortly after launch. It will cost $0.99 on its own or be included as a free gift with any purchase from the store.
