CD Projekt RED has released patch 2.5 for Cyberpunk 2077, adding fixes and new features, including “Clampdown,” a mission inspired by Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. The story takes place before the anime’s second season and follows King and his crew, expanding connections across the Cyberpunk universe without revealing details from the upcoming season.
The mission is not available as soon as the update is installed. Players must first complete “The Heist,” then finish at least two jobs assigned by Wakako. After the second job, they need to advance time in-game until Wakako sends a message to V’s phone.
Wakako’s jobs can be found in Westbrook. “We Have Your Wife” is a rescue mission in Japantown, while “Tyger and Vulture” takes players to a hidden underground casino near a divided highway in Charter Hill. Once the required jobs are complete, players should read the message marked as a request from King and follow its instructions to begin “Clampdown.”
