Modern Warfare 4 and Warzone Season 1 launches at 12 a.m. EST on Friday, November 6. That is earlier than the approximate midday start time used for new seasons in previous Call of Duty games. Players on the US West Coast can start at 9 p.m. PST on Thursday, November 5.

The release is scheduled for 2 a.m. BRT in Brazil, 5 a.m. GMT in the United Kingdom, 6 a.m. CET in western Europe, 2 p.m. JST in Japan and 4 p.m. AEDT on Australia's east coast, all on November 6.

Season 1 adds three maps, two weapons and three modes at launch. A mid-season update is also expected to bring two additional maps and weapons.

DMZ will receive the X01 location, described in an official blog post as a previously undiscovered weapons facility north of the North Korean border. The site is made up of passageways, tunnels and chambers surrounding a concealed weapons assembly line.

Modern Warfare 4 will also be integrated into Warzone, bringing the DMZ map Hajin, along with MW4 weapons and equipment, to the battle royale mode. The update introduces Zodiac, a new Resurgence map, while Verdansk and Rebirth Island return. Warzone is also set to launch on Nintendo Switch 2.
