Rockstar Games has released a new screenshot from Grand Theft Auto 6, offering a fresh view of Vice City, the capital of the game’s fictional Leonida region. The image takes in the city’s skyline and coastline, with high-rise buildings—some still under construction—dominating the scene.

Inspired by Miami, Vice City has appeared before in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, set in 1986 and 1984 respectively. The version shown in GTA 6 is a present-day setting, depicted with a more luxurious waterfront. Visible landmarks include a pier with a Ferris wheel, a large stadium and a building topped by a sphere-shaped structure.

The screenshot also shows a cove beneath a bridge, with a beach bar and sun loungers, while yachts sit in the nearby water. Across the water, what appears to be a party features oversized inflatable bears.

Rockstar has said that Vice City’s design and the story of Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos address inequality in the Florida-inspired region. The game’s world will extend beyond the city to include the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has also announced details related to the game’s storage requirements and preload, and said it will sell a poster featuring the map and cover after launch.
