The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake is expected to launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 eShop at midnight local time on November 5. Nintendo has not announced an official release schedule, but the anticipated times are based on the company’s previous major game launches.
In North America, the release is expected to follow the eastern time zone: the game should become available at 12am EST on November 5, which corresponds to 9pm PST on November 4 in Los Angeles. The remake is listed at 24.5 GB, so players may want to check they have enough storage on their Switch 2.
Expected release times include 9pm PST on November 4 in Los Angeles, 10pm MST in Denver and 11pm CST in Chicago. New York, Mexico City, Brazil, London, Beijing, Seoul, Tokyo and Melbourne are all listed for midnight on November 5, in their respective local time zones.
Players may be able to access the game earlier by linking a Nintendo Account to another region or creating a new account. However, buying it through a New Zealand account requires a New Zealand payment card or eShop cards, and the price may be higher than the equivalent cost in US dollars.
Nintendo has also announced in-store events at Nintendo San Francisco and Nintendo New York for fans interested in a midnight launch gathering.
