Xbox has unveiled the Series X-BITE, a custom alligator-shaped display that appears to have swallowed an Xbox Series X. The console inside works, and one fan can win the unusual creation in a Microsoft sweepstakes tied to the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6 launch.
Measuring more than five feet from snout to tail, the alligator features an illuminated Xbox Nexus that reveals the console inside its body. A custom Xbox Wireless Controller with bite marks rests between its jaws, while its green eyes have Nexus-inspired pupils.
John Nolan Studio, known for creature and animatronics work, built the oversized piece using 3D modeling, sculpting and fabrication. Its previous projects include The Witcher and Jurassic World Dominion, as well as HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter series.
The sweepstakes runs from November 3 through November 10, 2026, and is open to legal U.S. residents aged 18 or older. People can enter through X, Instagram or TikTok by following @Xbox, reposting the designated sweepstakes post and including #XbiteSweepstakes. Accounts must be public for entries to count.
Microsoft says the potential winner will have 48 hours to respond after being contacted. No purchase is necessary. The company describes the Series X-BITE as a custom fabrication intended for display purposes only, and says no real alligators were used or harmed in its creation.
