Remedy Entertainment’s third-quarter revenue rose to €39.6 million from €12.2 million in the same period last year, with the increase driven by preorders and launch sales of Control Resonant. The figures include only the game’s first seven days on sale.
The studio said Resonant passed one million copies sold on October 15, making it the fastest-selling game in Remedy’s history. CEO Jean-Charles Gaudechon described the release as a milestone for the company and its first self-published game of this scale based on its Control intellectual property.
According to Gaudechon, close to 50% of Resonant players were new to Control, meeting a key goal of widening the series’ audience. Remedy said 2.4 million players still had the game on their wishlists, and that its near-term priority was to convert more of that interest into sales.
Remedy’s operating profit for the quarter was €0.6 million, equal to a 1.5% margin. The company said sales through the rest of the year would determine its financial results for 2026. Gaudechon added that Remedy’s other projects remained in development and that the game’s launch provided a foundation for growth.
