Fortnite’s treasure-hunting season has introduced a Pirate Shop token that lets players claim everything in the Item Shop for 14 days. Its potential value has made it the season’s most sought-after reward, with players opening chest after chest in the hope of finding one.
The token can be activated once before Dec. 15, 2026, and once more before Dec. 15, 2027. The odds of finding it have not been confirmed. Dataminer Blortzen estimates it may appear in roughly one out of every 2,000 chests, while community estimates suggest the rate could be closer to one in 700,000.
The hunt has also led to offers for AFK tools, accounts containing the token and services in which other players open chests on a customer’s behalf. Automating gameplay and buying or selling accounts violate Epic Games’ terms of service and can result in permanent bans.
Treasure Hours are scheduled to take place every Sunday until the season ends. Epic Games’ season blog says the events will feature “boosted drops,” although it has not specified whether treasure drop rates will increase. Fortnite senior director Chris Yu has also confirmed that Power Hours begin this Sunday; the event times have not yet been announced.
