Sony’s high-end WH-1000XX “The Collexion” noise-canceling headphones are discounted ahead of Black Friday. The WH-1000XX sits above Sony’s WH-1000XM6 in the lineup. Its design features a metal frame largely covered in hand-brushed stainless steel and vegan leather, along with metal buttons. Sony also equips it with a wider padded headband and oversized earcups designed to sit around the ears.
Audio features include custom-tuned 30mm carbon composite drivers, Sony’s Integrated Processor V3, spatial surround sound, DSEE Ultimate upscaling and Bluetooth 6.0 with Multipoint. A QN3 noise-canceling processor manages the headphones’ 12-microphone array.
Sony rates battery life at up to 24 hours of continuous playback. USB-C quick charging can provide up to 1.5 hours of listening after five minutes of charging. The headphones also come with a carrying case that has a built-in handle.
