Despite being released over ten years ago, marking its eleventh anniversary, FromSoftware's Bloodborne continues to captivate fans worldwide. According to recent data, the title has sold more than 250,000 copies exclusively within 2026. These sales include purchases of the original PlayStation 4 version as well as those played via backward compatibility on the PS5.

Market analysis conducted by Rhys Elliott, head of market analysis at Alinea Analytics, confirms the enduring popularity of the action RPG. The data indicates that total sales since launch have reached 10.4 million copies, generating a cumulative revenue of $317 million. Additionally, over half a million players engaged with the game in October alone through PlayStation Plus.

Elliott's analysis also highlights a significant trend among FromSoftware fans who frequently play multiple titles from the developer simultaneously. Approximately 15% of those who purchased Bloodborne in the last month also played Elden Ring during the same period. Furthermore, 6% of these buyers engaged with Dark Souls 3, while 5% played Sekiro. This behavior suggests a dedicated cohort of gamers who continuously move between different titles within the FromSoftware ecosystem.

The game, originally released for PS4 on March 25, 2015, remains a standout title in the genre. Elliott noted that the combination of gothic and cosmic horror atmospheres, dense level design, and risk-reward combat mechanics continues to drive its success years after its initial launch.
