Bloodborne continues to attract players more than a decade after its release. According to Rhys Elliott, head of market analysis at Alinea Analytics, the FromSoftware Action RPG reportedly sold more than 251,000 copies during 2026 alone.

Elliott shared the estimate on X, stating that Bloodborne’s total sales have now reached approximately 10.4 million copies and generated around $317 million in revenue. He also reported that more than 500,000 people played the game through PlayStation Plus in October.

Among those players, 12 percent also played Elden Ring during the month, while 6 percent played Dark Souls 3 and 5 percent played Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Elliott described this as evidence of a group of players who regularly move between FromSoftware’s games.

Bloodborne remains exclusive to PlayStation and has never received a native version beyond the original PS4 release. It is playable on PS5 through backwards compatibility, although the newer console provides only limited improvements, such as smoother frame pacing.

Fans have continued to request a port or remaster. Before Sony closed Bluepoint Games earlier this year, the studio reportedly proposed a Bloodborne remake, but the project did not proceed. Former Sony Interactive Entertainment executive Shuhei Yoshida previously suggested that director Hidetaka Miyazaki’s attachment to the game may be one reason a remake has not been made, saying Miyazaki might prefer to work on it himself despite his busy schedule.
