Beholder: Conductor sold 81,088 copies over 14 days, matching its launch-scale sales 15 months after release, according to the team behind the game. The surge came without changes to the game or its Steam page: no new trailer, artwork or update was released during the campaign.

The promotion combined a Steam Daily Deal with Steam Train Fest, which ran from July 20 to 27, and a video creator campaign that ran from July 20 to 26. The game received a 70% discount, reducing its US price from $13.99 to $4.19. The creator campaign, organised through the Jestr marketplace, generated 9.2 million video views.

Before the campaign, Beholder: Conductor sold 202 copies on Steam and earned $1,071 in net revenue over seven days. It sold 67,016 copies in the first eight days of the promotion, reaching 81,088 by the end of the 14-day period. Steam recorded 41.73 million impressions and 743,055 store-page visits, with traffic peaking at around 190,000 visits in a day.

The campaign brought in $274,498 in gross revenue and $165,000 net after refunds and Steam’s commission. That net figure excludes the $5,600 spent on Jestr. Refunds covered 2,781 copies, or about 3.4% of units sold.

The team could not separate the sales attributable to the Daily Deal, the festival and the creator campaign. It said the activities appeared to reinforce one another: the deal gave the game visibility and a discount, the festival put it before an audience interested in train games, and creator videos brought additional attention.

Wishlist data also suggested the surge was not simply the result of discounting a backlog of older wishlists. During the first eight days, players added the game to wishlists 83,348 times, for a net increase of 61,182. In July, 64.5% of wishlist purchases came from wishlists added in 2026; that share rose to 72.9% in August and remained above 70% in September, through September 22.

The promotion also lifted sales of the other three Beholder games. Together, they sold 58,216 copies during the campaign, compared with 5,080 in the previous 14 days, while their combined net revenue increased from $4,806 to $60,800. Three bundles featuring Beholder: Conductor or the full series sold 37,684 units, up from 1,777 in the preceding fortnight.

The developers said the results showed how several promotional channels can support an older game at the same time, with attention to one title also bringing buyers to other games in the series.
