Organizers have labeled this year's Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show as its most international edition yet, reporting a total attendance of 219,546 visitors representing 113 different countries. The four-day event ran from October 29 to November 1 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre in Bangkok, utilizing 38,519 square meters of exhibition space.

The initial two days were dedicated to business activities, attracting 6,923 visitors from 78 countries. This figure marks a 24% increase compared to the 5,590 business attendees recorded in 2025, with more than half of these professionals traveling from outside Thailand. The conference program featured 81 speakers from 27 nations across four stages, headlined by id Software co-founder John Romero. Additionally, the Xsolla-sponsored Invest Circle and VIP XPerience facilitated connections between 509 developers, publishers, and investors, an increase from the 418 participants seen last year.

Exhibitor presence expanded significantly this year, with representatives from 29 countries participating through 335 booths and pavilions, up from 294 in the previous edition. The lineup included 20 national pavilions and industry delegations, with 64% of exhibitors hailing from outside Thailand. Attendees had access to 582 playable titles, 347 of which were developed by indie studios across both business and entertainment sectors. The event also drew 720 media partners, influencers, and press representatives, while digital livestreams generated nearly 34 million views across various platforms.

Mathias Kuepper, Managing Director and Regional President for APAC at Koelnmesse, stated that this was the most international show they have staged. He emphasized that exhibitors from 29 countries traveled to Bangkok specifically to sign deals, signaling that Southeast Asia has evolved from a market to watch into a primary destination for global industry transactions. Project director Daria La Velle noted that while the long-term goal is to cover all of Asia, the event currently serves as a fundamental hub for Southeast Asia's games industry and fans. She explained that bringing the Gamescom experience to the region addresses the relatively low attendance from Asia Pacific at the main German event compared to Europe, the US, and South America.
